Cyprus Strengthens Relationships and Builds Strategies at Manor 7s Tournament

The recent UK Manor 7s tournament was a brilliant opportunity for the group and an important part of our 7s season so far. Off the back of Glenalmond, where we laid some strong foundations as a squad, it gave us more valuable time together and a chance to put into practice the style of rugby we want to play and the standards we set for ourselves, both on and off the pitch.
The quality of competition on the day was outstanding and gave us the perfect platform to test ourselves against some experienced, well-drilled sides. While a few of the results didn’t quite fall our way, there were plenty of positives to take from how we performed. The boys showed real character, work rate and resilience throughout the day, and it’s clear to see how much progress we’ve made as a group in a short space of time.
Massive credit to everyone involved, from the players to the coaches and support staff, for the effort and commitment they put in throughout the day. It helped strengthen our relationships, sharpen our game understanding and create experiences we can build from as a squad.
We head into GSSE with high hopes, valuable lessons learned and a growing belief in what this group is capable of achieving together. It’s an exciting time for the team, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come.
