World Rugby Coaching Courses September 2025

The Cyprus Rugby Federation will be holding more World Rugby coaching courses in September 2025. The courses are very popular and become fully booked fast, so if you're interested in attending please book your place as soon as possible.
Activate Injury Prevention Exercise Programme
A structured exercise programme to reduce injuries in youth and adult community rugby. The evidence behind Activate shows 26-40% fewer soft tissue injuries and 29-60% fewer concussions. The Activate course must be completed before progressing to the Level 1 Coaching course.

Level 1 Coaching Course
Full-day, non-assessed, attendance-based course which provides the novice coach with advice on both what and how to coach in a practical-based environment. Participants must have completed the Activate course to be eligible for Level 1 Coaching.

Level 1 Referees Course
Full-day, non-assessed, attendance-based course which helps the novice referee to referee the basic components of the game in a practical-based environment.

2-day, competency-based accreditation course which builds on the Level 1 course and further develops tactical and technical coaching as well as coaching process skills in a practical-based environment.
