The Cyprus A team is only made up of on-island players and they got to stretch their legs yesterday against Wolf Pack Barbarians, a touring team made up of players from multiple nations.
This closely fought game was played at Limassol Crussaders ground. The first half was very close with Wolf Pack edging it out 8-10 going into half time. Cyprus A scored a penalty early on, both teams scored a try in the first half with Wolf Pack converting theirs followed by a penalty.
In the second half, with changes for both teams, Cyprus A went onto score two more tries and converted one, Wolf Pack scored a penalty between the tries.
Cyprus Rugby Federation would like to thank Wolf Pack Barbarians for making this game possible. After the game, the Wolf Pack presented CRF and each of the four on-island teams a plaque.
